At last...TOTAL DRAMA REVENGE OF THE ISLAND IS HERE! REJOICE!

Well technically it already aired in France, but I can't edgic in French.

American finale updated!

...What.

...I am this and what is 12?

...O_____________________O

Um...okay. I guess...the Cameron haters all live in America...? Or they all multivoted...or something...?

Whatever. At least there is a silver lining here; Cameron was actually more complex in this ending, so he gets the CPP finale he deserves.

But seriously, what?

@Vilecheese: Ah. I tried not to spoil myself, even though I know that SPOILER ALERT

Lightning wins. (If I'm wrong, don't tell me who the real winner is, k?)

Reply Vilecheese, January 5th, 2012, 11:57 pm

@Slicer37: 1 in 12 shot.

Reply Slicer37, January 5th, 2012, 11:59 pm

I can only find it in French :(.

Who uploaded it in English?

Reply Slicer37, January 6th, 2012, 2:02 am

Oh nevermond, it's either Cameron or Lighting.

Black people FTW!

Reply Vilecheese, January 6th, 2012, 10:43 am

@Slicer37: I posted the link on SWSU's page.

Reply Slicer37, January 7th, 2012, 9:47 pm

Just saw it!

I think Mike and Zoey's ratings should be switched. Mike had that whole MPD thing, while Zoey was more normal.

And how did Scott get the N. I know he's the obvious main villain and all, but he was a nonfactor this episode. I'd give him UTR1.

Reply Vilecheese, January 9th, 2012, 7:06 pm

@Slicer37: Hm, I never saw this post for some reason.

Mike was MOR because, other than turning into Chester for a couple minutes, he acted like a normal kid. Maybe a little flustered around Zoey, but not to the same degree as she was.

Zoey on the other hand was all paranoid about how people were perceiving her, gushing over Mike, and how she doesn't have any friends.

Scott had the confessional where he was scheming to take down B.

Reply Slicer37, January 9th, 2012, 8:03 pm

@Vilecheese: Re watching, I think they were both OTTP.

And Scott was just "B thinks he's smart. I'll take him down." He's either UTR1 or UTRN1.

Reply Slicer37, January 9th, 2012, 8:09 pm

BTW, who's you're favorite so far?

Reply Vilecheese, January 9th, 2012, 8:39 pm

@Slicer37: I dunno, Dakota?

Reply Slicer37, January 9th, 2012, 8:47 pm

@Vilecheese: I like Lightning so far.

And I still think Mike and Zoey were both OTTP. The Chester thing pushed Mike into OTTP range, and he didn't have anything CP to balance it out.

Reply Vilecheese, January 9th, 2012, 9:13 pm

@Slicer37: I wouldn't really count the Chester thing because it not Mike's "real" personality...but I guess you could say that the fact that he has odd personalities makes him OTT? I dunno, to me, Mike was a MORP kid dealing with a disorder.

Reply Slicer37, January 9th, 2012, 9:15 pm

@Vilecheese: What your opinion on Mike, anyway?

I really really really hated Staci.

Reply Vilecheese, January 9th, 2012, 9:17 pm

@Slicer37: I like him a lot.

And Staci was annoying, and the hatred she gets is definitely intentional by the writers. They probably didn't want another Ezekiel-type fanbase breathing down their necks.

Reply Slicer37, January 9th, 2012, 9:29 pm

@Vilecheese: Mike's sthick is already annoying me. I think Brick and Cameron have a lot of potential though. The cadet and the bubble boy are stereotypes that have never really explored on TDI before (espically since Cameron wins)I think this season will be the best ever, thanks
to the new cast. The old one was getting...well...old.

Am I the only person who started liking Zeke WHEN he became a zombie? I thought it was interesting.

BTW, am I the only person who thinks it's kinda racist that pre-show, everyone was saying that Lighting was the new DJ? And they have nothing in common. lol.

Reply Slicer37, January 13th, 2012, 7:04 pm

Yeah...it's sad that Dakota is gone...forever...because it's not like she'll become and intern, start a showmance with Sam, and rejoin the game. That's perposterous.

I have a feeling that there will be a distinct lack of CP's this season. Looking at the cast and how they've been behaving these two episodes, I see a lot of OTT's in their future.

You notice how Lightning's had two confessionals so far, and they're both recycled dialogue from his audition?

Reply Slicer37, January 13th, 2012, 8:49 pm

@SSBFreak: Cameron's first confessional was recycled from his audition as well.

Reply SSBFreak (Guest), January 13th, 2012, 9:09 pm

@slicer

That may be so, but he's at least had a couple of original confessionals since then. It's been two episodes and Lightning still hasn't had an original confessional.

Reply Vilecheese, January 13th, 2012, 9:44 pm

@SSBFreak and Slicer37: I'm pretty sure the audition tapes for those two were made last minute...remember how Owen/Gwen didn't have audition tapes?

Reply StarOceanFan18 (Guest), January 16th, 2012, 7:16 pm

My thoughts on episode 2. B's name is Beverly? Lol, no wonder he has a nickname. His parents must really hate him or something.

I'm kinda gonna miss Dakota, but i'm totally not going to miss the annoying paparazzi.

I have a feeling i'm not going to like Scott. When i saw him pet a mutant animal, i know he has a fetish for small but dangerous forest creatures and reptiles. I hate those types of boys.

Reply StarOceanFan18 (Guest), January 21st, 2012, 10:44 am

Episode 3 I just love it how The Toxic Rats just keeps on losing. It really shows that The Mutant Maggots are really a strong team.

I'm starting to like Anna Maria. I just love how she brings her Jersey attitude in this show.

I know i have a strong feeling that BrickXJo are going to exist. I kinda don't like Brick, so I must believe that Jo should pair up with somebody else.

And i was just about ready to hear B speak. It's just not fair that Chris has to fling him away without having him to say his final words. :(

Reply Slicer37, January 21st, 2012, 11:49 am

Well, there doing a good job of differing Eva and Jo, anyway.

Reply Slicer37, January 21st, 2012, 3:52 pm

Why OTTN and not CPN for Scott and why OTTP and not MORP for Zoey?

And Cameron had too much screetime for an UTR. I have him as MORP2.

Reply Vilecheese, January 21st, 2012, 7:46 pm

@Slicer37: Was Scott's strategy explained in this episode? Maybe it was last episode, but we really weren't getting anything new from him here.

Zoey...I don't remember. I think it was the "gushing over Mike" confessional again that gave her the OTT from me, but I could be mistaken.

And Cameron didn't do anything except try to climb the mountain and get attacked by a giant cockroach. Nothing that the episode couldn't do without.

Reply Slicer37, January 21st, 2012, 8:21 pm

@Vilecheese: Zoey didn't do anything else in the episode other than that one confessional. borderline OTT, but not enough IMO.

Cameron also figured out that Mike had MPD, which was CP, bumping him up to a MOR IMO.

Scott was borderline CP/OTT, but I think getting rid of B edged him out to a CP.

I can understand your reasoning though :)

Reply Vilecheese, January 22nd, 2012, 12:10 pm

@Slicer37: It's probably because I watched the episode in low quality and I couldn't hear everything everyone said, but I honestly don't remember Cameron figuring that out. O.o I probably need to rewatch this episode.

Reply Slicer37, January 22nd, 2012, 12:25 pm

@Vilecheese: I found a higher quality version on YouTube, and yes, Cameron figured out Mike's MPD. It was quick, so I get why you missed it.

Reply Slicer37, January 27th, 2012, 6:52 pm

Here's my edgic rankings:

Anne Maria: MORN. She had a couple of CP moments, but mostly she was just "Vito's so hot!" the whole ep. And I don't get the M at all, she was clearly N.

Jo: CPN. Strategy untill she got kidnapped. The best player in the game, but an cruel bully.

Cameron: CPP. The hero. Character development galore.

Sam: MORM. Yeah, he was called annoying by some people, and he had some OTT video game stuff, but winning the challenge for his team was CP, so I'm using the OTT+CP= MOR rule here.

I agree with everything else on your chart, Vile.

Reply Vilecheese, January 27th, 2012, 7:42 pm

@Slicer37:

Anne Maria: I remember her being somewhat nice and proving to be helpful before the whole Vito stuff happened...

Jo: I'm still on the fence with this one.

Cameron: Typically when a character can be described as "the hero" he's OTTP actually. As a whole with Cam, he seemed kinda CP and kinda OTT to me without soundly fitting in either category, thus MORP.

Sam: How does winning a challenge make someone CP?

Reply Slicer37, January 27th, 2012, 8:06 pm

@Vilecheese: Cameron didn't really have any big OTT moments, and he had tons of character development. I think you just automatically give him OTTP because he's a TD winner.

Anne Maria had ONE helpful scene, and unlike Cameron or Brick, she got no positive SPV about it. Not enough imo.

Point taken about Sam, but I still think he was more MOR than OTT.

Reply Slicer37, January 28th, 2012, 11:45 am

CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING ALL 4 N TONES IN 4 EPISODES SCOTT.

Reply Vilecheese, January 28th, 2012, 6:03 pm

@Slicer37: I'm sure he's very proud of himself.

And so is his Pappy.

Reply Slicer37, February 3rd, 2012, 11:27 pm

Dawn fanboys are annoying. She's nothing speical.

Scott quite possibly has the best edit ever.

And I still think Jo and Cameron were CP in episode 4

Reply Slicer37, February 10th, 2012, 7:59 pm

Why isn't Jo CP in episode 4? I know I've said it a thousand times, but she was very complex that episode.

Reply Vilecheese, February 10th, 2012, 10:42 pm

@Slicer37: I think it's already been established that I disagree.

Reply Slicer37, February 10th, 2012, 11:32 pm

@Vilecheese: But you never explained why.

Reply SSBFreak (Guest), February 24th, 2012, 8:46 pm

I have to say that I'm liking this season, if only for the fact that Fresh TV completely threw the reality physics out the window and remembered that this is a cartoon they're working with. :P

Reply Vilecheese, February 24th, 2012, 9:54 pm

@SSBFreak: I...don't recall this ever being a problem in previous seasons.

I do like this season a lot, though.

Reply SSBFreak (Guest), February 24th, 2012, 10:03 pm

Well, the contestants from previous seasons didn't really have defining characteristics because they seemed like they were supposed to be real people in a cartoon, which seemed to take away from some of it and it gave several people a lack of personality. Here, we've got obvious cartoon characters in a cartoon and the writers just have fun with everyone.

Reply Slicer37, February 24th, 2012, 10:11 pm

@SSBFreak: I agree with this. It's in personalities too: the original cast was mostly "normal" people that you could meet in real life (Trent, Bridgette, DJ, etc). Now everyone's a complete lunatic XD.

Reply Vilecheese, February 24th, 2012, 11:05 pm

There were still plenty of entertaining abnormal people too though. Izzy and Owen and Lindsay and Heather and Noah and Harold and Sierra...

Either way, I'm not missing the normal people.

Reply Slicer37, February 24th, 2012, 11:11 pm

@Vilecheese: Yeah, but they aren't as crazy as the people here.

Reply Slicer37, March 2nd, 2012, 9:49 pm

Ugh, Mike :\. I guess you can consider me a hater.

Besides, MPD DOES NOT work like that in real life, so his "development" is annoying.

Reply Vilecheese, March 2nd, 2012, 10:14 pm

@Slicer37: Eh, fake or not the MPD did bring us a lot of drama and character development this season, and it was a really creative idea. Maybe it could've been seen as offensive by some people, but I never found it offensive. Especially since Mike was shown as a positive character.

Reply Slicer37, March 2nd, 2012, 10:44 pm

@Vilecheese: Considering that MPD is an extremely rare symtom caused by severe child abuse, yes I was offended. And I don't have MPD or know anyone that has it, btw.

@cRaZyKiD9219: Oh yeah.

I'm kinda a Cameron fan though.
