Yay, gimmicks that are more random, yet nowhere near as annoying as Survivor Blood vs. Water!

Finale updated! Edgic...FAIL! XD

Man have I been backing up the wrong horse. And I thought Mitchell was the distraction the whole time...I guess it was because I found him a tad too CP strategic, his tones fluctuated a bit too wildly...I dunno. Maybe it's just because I didn't like him.

20. Arianna
Wow, I actually didn't flat-out hate anyone this season. O.O With that said though, Arianna definitely wins the disappointment of the season award. She was apparently supposed to be sneaky, but all she did was love Jericho and get voted out immediately after her ally, and AFTER a swap at that.

19. Kathy
Yeah, her role here was to be the sacrificial lion, and again she was just lame. But it's pretty understandable; she already did great in SFC9 and it's unlikely we would've gotten anything super different this season had she made it to the end.

18. Saur
HI I LIKE STRENGTH HI I LIKE STRENGTH HI I LIKE STRENGTH DID I MENTION I LIKE STRENGTH

17. Nakia
She's just unpleasant. :/ Villains are cool and all, but with Pokey and Jericho as the huge villains of the season, this one ended up forgettable, and she hardly did anything.

16. Yannis
I don't really hate him or anything, I just don't get WHY he was on this season. We've had silent characters before, and Yannis brings nothing new.

15. Mitchell
If he didn't win, he'd be yellow, because characters I don't care for are usually yellow...but he won. And winners should be cared for. Anyway, Mitchell just wasn't interesting to me. He strategized a ton (borderline strategybot), he hated Jericho and Yorgue by association, and he liked kids. Yay?

14. Yorgue
I want to give her some credit for actually having a story, and being the Jericho lackey who actually became all independent and changed from loving Jericho to dragging him to the end as a goat...but she's. SO. BORING. I have no idea why she finished all the way in 3rd place.

13. Rheneas
Lol first boot who cares. Though honestly Rheneas is awesome in Letterz.

12. Robin
Lol second boot who cares.

11. Donny
Who cares.

10. Zita
Also kinda fits who cares, but I wanted to like her.

9. Wallace
Goofy and fun sometimes, but the whole "I'm a villain...not really!" and doing NOTHING villainous whatsoever is kinda meh.

8. Pokey
Lol.

7. Xyly
The sad thing is it was her story and situation that made her likable, not her character herself, and it was a familiar story. Thankfully a few twists were added to it, such as the idoling Saur part.

6. Helen
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AHOY. And her change was so funny in of itself, and she was really likable both when she was MORN and OTTP. But when it was finished, she became a tad boring.

5. Matt
One of my random favorite types of characters are the sidekicks who constantly snark about how terrible their leader is, which is what I thought Matt would be in SFC8. But thankfully we've got that here. He was boring sometimes, but when he delivered, he delivered. Ponderosa too.

4. Jericho
THE ULTIMATE FAILVILLAIN. I don't think much else needs to be said.

3. Monna Lisa
She's adorable, snarky, and just kept doing her own thing...telekinesis in her case. Very fun character, even if she didn't develop.

2. Yessica
I certainly was not expecting to enjoy Yessica so much, especially after she was THE MOST BORING CHARACTER in Letterz. :o But she was absolutely likable, unwaveringly positive without being diabetic, had a great story and relationships and had to deal with a whole lot, and while she'd complain a little, she'd never become aggravated or unpleasant. Definitely a MORP edit done right, which is a rarity.

1. Couscous
GAH I SWEAR I DIDN'T MEAN TO BE BIASED TOWARDS MY OWN CHARACTER HERE. The top 3 was really hard to rank, but in the end, Couscous was the character I liked just a smidge above the others. It might be because she's mine, but I found myself laughing at almost all her lines. Her MORN2 edit is pretty legendary, and the fact that there still managed to be so much tasty Couscous goodness stuffed in the season despite that, with her character development about actually liking the finalists and the great mystery surrounding why she hates flirts was so great.

Off to a good start. The main difference is that I had Rheneas as a CPP, but I can see the MORP as well.

Reply Vilecheese, May 21st, 2013, 8:32 pm

@SSBFreak: Yeah, it was mostly narrational strategy IMO.

Woah, Monna as evil as Kasimar.

What did Jericho do that was negative, all he did was target someone for being weak.

Reply Vilecheese, May 22nd, 2013, 10:26 pm

@Guest 3: SPV.

Reply JETTEJ, May 24th, 2013, 6:43 pm

@Vilecheese: I think Helen will be booted in a unanimous vote. Getting blindsided is too exciting for her.

XD

Reply Vilecheese, May 28th, 2013, 7:47 pm

@JETTEJ: More like she'll complain WHEN she's blindsided. >:D

Mitchell should be OTTN or at least MORN everything he did, said, or narrated was about getting back at Jericho.

Reply LandenMaster, June 2nd, 2013, 3:22 pm

@Guest 3: That would be MORP, getting back at at a villain is positive, not negative. Or I guess mixed tone, but no, not negative.

Reply Guest 3 (Guest), June 2nd, 2013, 5:31 pm

@LandenMaster: I see your point, but Mitchell clearly wanted to get back at Jericho for revenge which's pretty negative, and I don't think someone just after revenge should get a positive or mixed tone just because the person they're going after happens to be a villain. also Jericho isn't really a villain he just gets tons of negative SPV.

Actually, I had Mitchell as CPN this episode.

Reply Vilecheese, June 5th, 2013, 8:15 am

@SSBFreak: Seems logical.

At this point I think it's between Mitchell, Wallace and Yessica; only problem for me is that they all have good edits and it's becoming hard to see who is a distraction and who isn't.

So, what did you think of Jericho finding out about Yessica's orientation? I found it hilarious.
